About me
Yveton Isnor, PsyD, LMHC, attended Nova Southeastern University (NSU), where he earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling in 2015. He worked at the Boca Habilitation Center for the Handicapped (HabCenter) for seven years, where he helped develop the Program for Education, Arts, and Recreation (P.E.A.R.) to support clients in leading meaningful lives. He later pursued a doctorate in clinical psychology at NSU, completing both his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance, where he currently serves as a staff psychologist. He works within Recovery in Shared Experiences (RISE), a program for First-Episode Psychosis (FEP), and is part of the Haitian cultural-linguistic team.Dr. Isnor has also provided mental health services to vulnerable children in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) and Lima, Peru. His clinical interests include working with marginalized populations, long-term mental illness, adoption-related trauma, African-centered psychology, culturally sensitive interventions, and the role of religion in mental health. He currently serves as President of the Southeast Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology (SEFAPP).
