About me
Nakiya is a third year clinical psychology student at Nova Southeastern University College of Psychology program. She has had humanitarian experience with refugees in Jordan, advocacy experience with Florida Psychological Association in Tallahassee, crisis intervention challenges with Henderson Behavioral Health, and psychoanalytic training. Her interests lie with religion, trauma, serious mental illness, children, bilingual practice, and health concerns. She has had several lectures and posters on diabetes, weight bias, religion, and psychosis.
