About me
Neil Haran is an Incident Response Team Administrator at New York University where he conducts rapid, on-site psychosocial crisis responses within university residence halls. His academic background is in clinical psychology and he has worked as a graduate student researcher on projects involving mechanistic approaches to the psychopathology of child and adolescent depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress, as well as mechanisms of change in mentalization-based psychotherapy for patients with BPD. His current research interests center the response strategies of non-clinician mental health crisis responders in higher education settings, particularly for incidents involving psychosis and mania.
