Dr. Ke Wang is a research, evaluation, and data strategy leader with expertise in caregiving, mental health, health systems, and evidence-informed policy. She serves with the Rosalynn Carter Mental Health and Caregiver Program at The Carter Center, where she leads caregiver-focused research, develops innovative data systems and governance frameworks, and integrates data-driven insights into strategic planning to strengthen caregiving and mental health initiatives.Dr. Wang brings more than a decade of experience in applied research, program evaluation, and data analytics across nonprofit, academic, and healthcare settings. Her work focuses on advancing support for family caregivers, improving mental health outcomes, and developing innovative approaches to measurement, learning, and systems change. She previously led the development of a first-of-its-kind caregiver data platform supported by a $1.1 million federal grant, significantly enhancing reporting efficiency, research collaboration, and program outcomes. She was recognized for her contributions to Tech Matters’ Better Deal for Data Standard and serves as the Chair on the inaugural Steering Committee of The Carter Center's Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Community of Practice.Dr. Wang has led cross-sector and international research collaborations and is committed to translating evidence into action. She disseminates research findings through peer-reviewed publications, policy briefs, media engagement, social media, and presentations at national and international forums to increase awareness and promote evidence-informed practice and policy. Her work has been featured at venues including the WHO Symposium on Sustainable Health and Care Delivery Transformation, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), the American Public Health Association, and other national and global conferences.She earned her PhD in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and her MA in International Affairs from Marquette University, and has completed advanced training in MEAL Pro, data science, and analytics through Cornell University, NUS Business School, IBM, and Humentum.
