About me
Shannon Kaufmann is a peer support who has utilized peer experience to lead a wellness center, create a healing from trauma program, and spearhead a statewide project that brought peer support into the psychiatric hospitals for the first time. She was the recipient of the Peer of the Year Award in the state of Michigan. She is mother to 5 children for whom she still advocates for vigilantly. She aspires to lead projects for underrepresented children.
