About me
Jasmine Northrop is a graduate student in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University with research interests in trauma, psychosis, women's mental health, and relational approaches to treatment. Her current work explores the impact of childhood trauma on the development and treatment of psychosis in women, with a particular focus on social and interpersonal factors that influence recovery.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Jasmine volunteers in suicide prevention efforts, supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress and mental health challenges. She is passionate about trauma-informed care and advancing research that promotes compassionate, person-centered mental health interventions.
