About me
Jessie Roth (she/her) is a writer, activist, and strategist with more than a decade of experience at the intersections of transformative mental health and human rights. She is the former Executive Director and a longtime member of the Institute for the Development of Human Arts (IDHA), where she led the development of educational and community-building initiatives that bridge the perspectives of survivors, peers, practitioners, family members, and artists. Jessie currently works as an independent consultant, supporting organizations and leaders in building the relationships, structures, and strategies needed to sustain social change with care and integrity. Inspired by a mix of personal and family experiences, her work centers the healing power of storytelling and the importance of cross-movement organizing for liberation.
