About me
Jenna Wesely is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego. She has a Master's degree in psychology with a specialization in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience from San Diego State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests center on neurocognition, social cognition, and functional outcomes in serious mental illness, with a particular focus on how cognitive and social-cognitive processes relate to clinical presentation, comorbidity, and psychosocial functioning. She is currently a graduate student researcher in the Treatment and Assessment of Cognitive Effectiveness (TRACE) Lab at Alliant University, where she contributes to projects examining cognitive mechanisms and intervention approaches across psychiatric populations. Jenna’s clinical experience includes work in an adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital in San Diego, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for youth with complex psychiatric concerns in higher levels of outpatient care.
