Dr. Deidre Anglin is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized postdoctoral research training in psychiatric epidemiology from Columbia University. Dr. Anglin is a Professor in the Doctoral Clinical Psychology Program at The City College of the City University of New York where she directs the Clinical and Social Epidemiology (CASE) lab leading projects focused on social determinants of psychosis risk in ethnoracial minoritized populations. Dr. Anglin currently holds active research funding from the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Human Genome Research Institute. Dr. Anglin has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and conference presentations and has been featured in New York Times Magazine. Dr. Anglin serves as Co-Leader of the Enhance Quality of Care Unit within Columbia University's OPAL ALACRITY Schizophrenia Center Methods Core and holds editorial positions as Associate Editor for Schizophrenia Bulletin and Co-Editor of the Culture and Mental Health Services column for Psychiatric Services. Dr. Anglin received the inaugural Society for Research in Psychopathology Sustained Contributions to Social Justice Award in 2024 and the American Psychopathological Association Paul Hoch Award for Distinguished Investigation in Diversity and Inequity in Mental Health in 2024. She was named the Luke and Grace Kim Visiting Professor in Cultural Psychiatry at the University of California, Davis in 2025 and presented the inaugural seminar for the Brody Center for Population Mental Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2026.
