About me
Deborah Anna Luepnitz, PhD is on the core faculty of the Institute for Relational Psychoanalysis of Philadelphia. She is the author of The Family Interpreted: Psychoanalysis, Feminism and Family Therapy (Basic Books, 1992) and Schopenhauer's Porcupines: 5 Stories of Psychotherapy (Basic Books, 2002) which has been translated into 10 languages. In 2004, Dr. Luepnitz launched Insight For All, a group of psychotherapists and analysts committed to treating unhoused and formerly unhoused adults pro bono. For this work, she has received awards from IFPE (International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education and also ISEPP (International Society for Ethical Psychology & Psychoanalysis).
