Harm reduction philosophy and approaches have made great headway in reducing alienation and deaths of despair in the world of substance use.  How can we apply the lessons of these models and community spaces to our work supporting people in non-consensus reality states?  What might we gain by letting go of practices that focus on control or reality-checking and starting to embrace strategies voice-hearers use in real-life scenarios to survive?  This session will focus on practical ways to reduce power differentials and offer support that feels authentic and responsive to the unique situation of each experiencer.  We explore how shifting our paradigm can create new paths forward.
